Melissa Goodier is the Marketing & Events Manager for Rockville Economic Development, Inc. She brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, content creation, and event strategy to support business growth and community engagement in the City of Rockville. Melissa’s background spans nonprofit, wellness, technology, arts, and community-focused organizations, equipping her with a unique ability to connect diverse audiences through compelling narratives and integrated campaigns.

Prior to joining REDI, Melissa held marketing and communications leadership roles at organizations including Levine Music, Yoga Alliance, and 3Pillar Global, where she developed digital and social media strategies, supported fundraising and engagement efforts, and led large-scale events and campaigns. She is known for her strong copywriting skills, attention to visual detail, collaborative problem-solving, and thoughtful, creative approach to storytelling.

Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication from James Madison University and is passionate about equity, accessibility, and creating inclusive experiences that strengthen local communities.
