Economic Development Week in MD
The week of September 28 – October 2 is Economic Development Week in Maryland.
Economic Development Week’s goal is to emphasize to the general public the importance of economic development for the State of Maryland.
The week is designed to increase an understanding of economic development’s contribution to the State’s business climate, job retention and growth, the tax base and the overall quality of life in Maryland.
All over the state economic development organizations will be holding events and using social media to get out the message.
REDI’s event is the annual REDI Resource Meetup (R2M) event on Wednesday, Sept 30, where business owners and other participants can talk to over 14 resource partners and find out what assistance they can get in Rockville, Montgomery County and Maryland. The “Rockin’ in Rockville” award will also be given out to this year’s winning Rockville company.
