Advanced Studies in Technology Transfer Open House Event

On Thursday, January 15th from 4-6:30pm there will be an open house for the fall courses in the “Advanced Studies in Technology Transfer” program at the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES) Graduate School at NIH in the new FAES Academic Center Terrace in the NIH Clinical Center (Building 10).  For the semester beginning on January 26th there will be 11 courses available:

•       TECH 503 – Business Law Primer

•       TECH 505 – Contemporary Issues in Technology Transfer

•       TECH 506 – Research Commercialization Webinar Course:  The Essentials

•       TECH 508 – Food and Drug Law for Scientists

•       TECH 566 – Biotechnology Business Leadership and Management Strategies

•       TECH 572 – Marketing Strategies for Scientific Organizations

•       TECH 582 – Intellectual Property and Patent Prosecution for Scientists

•       TECH 583 – Patent Research for Non-Legal Practitioners

•       TECH 607 – Capstone Course in Technology Transfer

•       CHEM 327 – The Art of Drug Design and Discovery

•       PHAR 500 – Principles of Clinical Pharmacology

Additional details can be found in the 2014-15 course catalog (  Online course registration is now open.  The Advanced Studies in Technology Transfer is an open enrollment program with class credits transferable into various MBA & MS degree programs at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) Graduate School and the Johns Hopkins University Center for Biotechnology Education.
